MFA Thesis Project

The MFA Thesis Exhibition is the final requirement towards completion of the MFA degree in Studio Art at Hunter College. Under close supervision of the faculty sponsor, each student prepares work for a professional level exhibition that takes place in the 205 Hudson Street Gallery. Students are required to produce a thesis statement discussing the themes of their work and considering the personal, historical, and contextual issues that inform it.
