    A Muslim burial site dating to the 7th Century Rashidun Caliphate is being dug up for construction of the Simon Wiesenthal Center’s “Center for Human Dignity - Museum of Tolerance.” Construction of the museum faced fierce political opposition from both Palestinian and Israeli groups, but after numerous legal delays between 2011 - 2014, the project continues as planned.
